This is Angel, he's not one though. He was really naughty so I named him a sweet name, hoping it would change his personality. The people who had him originally named him Rambo and took him back to the breeder where he came from because he was so mean. It's not a very good photo, I'm gonna take another or scan one that I have so you can see his very pretty blue eyes.
Prissy is just that, prissy. When she was a kitten she didn't have a nose, lol. She finally grew one! I keep her fur trimmed shorter, she actually has fur that goes to ground if let go. She's a sweetheart. Her way of communication is snorting instead of meowing like normal cats. Her eyes are very unique.
This is Duke, Terry's old dog. He's a sweetheart but doesn't like kids or cats so that caused some problems because I love kids and cats. I have to keep the dogs on one section of the yard and house and cats on the other. My cats don't like it because this was their house. Whenever Angel gets a chance, he wacks Duke to make him pay for it.
Squirt, my schizophrenic lab at Bodega Bay. She is afraid of everyone except us. The vet comes outside to check her because we can't get her in! Tiff would call her the never ending story dog because while she was still growing she constantly changed. She'd be tall for awhile, then she'd be long with short legs. It was funny. Ben used to whisper in her ear when she was a puppy and now Tiff does it. She really missed him when he left.
Did you know that a dog's sense of smell is up to 10 million times more sensitive and acute than humans? No wonder they like to stick
their nose into everyone else's business. Their sense of smell is so amazing, they can detect skin cancer long before it's diagnosed, and they can even identify prostate cancer by sniffing urine samples. They can often sense seizures and potential health disasters by recognizing a change in bodily scents, and their ability to sniff
out bombs and missing people is another enormous benefit--you might say it's their contribution to anti-terrorism.
